Our chrome plating
and powder coating is of the highest quality. However, the condition
and appearance of the chrome plating is largely dependent on user
care and maintenance. S&H Chrome Plating and Powder coating
warrants all plating and powder coating to be free from defective
workmanship. Under this warranty the part will be processed, at
our option, without charge to the customer. We reserve the right
to determine if a part has been misused or abused. The warranty
covers a period of one (1) year from the date the part was processed,
not from the date installed. This is a one (1) year limited warranty.
No other warranty is either expressed or implied.
What is not
covered by this warranty:
Any part that
has been subjected to misuse, negligence, improper installation,
road hazard, collision, use of any polish, abrasives, compounds
or acid based cleaners not approved by S&H.
Corrosion or
defects resulting from the original manufacturer's defects or materials.
CARE OF YOUR PLATED PARTS
For all surfaces we recomend you only use non-abrasive cloths such
as Rocket Gold Fiber Cloths
or any good quality micro fiber cloth.
CHROME
Use a good non-abrasive
chrome polish, such as Rocket
Chrome Polish for long term protection or Rocket
Detail for everyday cleaning.
POWDER COATED PARTS
Clean with mild soap and water or Rocket
Detail. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or polishes.
INSTALLATION
AND FITMENT
Where applicable, all parts are test fitted, gasket and seal areas
resurfaced and visually inspected as part of our quality control
process prior to shipment. As hard as we strive to provide the best
quality and service possible, Murphy's Law does on occasion raise
it's head. We recommend that all threaded parts be chased with a
tap or die. All parts should be, additionally, inspected closely
by you or your installer prior to installation.
